Ok, so everything is signed, sealed and delivered. I am going to 2 major events this year and I am SO excited to be bringing my friend Megan with me to this one:
This dandy is put on by Leica Forrest and is such a riot! I'm a little afraid Meg won't look at me the same way after! LOL
I've also secured my spot at Camp Croppin' this year as previously posted and narrowly made my way into just one of the 3 classes I was hung on taking. It is tough to get in after the first day of registration! So I'll be scrappin' it up 7 Gypsies style with the talented Janelle Smith. I've always, always been a fan of 7 Gypsies. Not a main staple like Basic Grey. But I always have something Gypsie in my stash. I love the somewhat distressed, vintage look. I'm cooking and scrapping...more later!

Oh. Yeah. BABY!!!
SO SO SO EXCITED!!! For the last 3 years I have yearned to go to this event. The first year I heard about it we had just moved. The second year we had previous committments and it was WAY too far to drive for a weekend. Well, third time's the charm baby because I am GOING! I am really excited about taking the Basic Grey class by Becky Fleck. I don't know much about her but I am a HUGE fan of Basic Grey. In fact, I just bought some of the Archaic collection on Friday:
SO CUTE for my boys. So I thought I love Basic Grey, I'll probably love the class. Anybody else going to Camp Croppin' this year? Give a SHOUT OUT! April can NOT come fast enough.

Just Say It Isn't So
I would like to take this opportunity to announce my resignation from the world of scrapbooking. I just can't do it anymore.
Ok, Ok. So maybe I am being just a tad over dramatic. No, I will never stop scrapbooking. I will never give up on this amazing hobby that brings me so much joy. But I do seriously need to consider where this industry is going when I see this and this. What the heck? I am all for scrapbooking equality but will we have to worry about paparazzi at CHA now? LOL
That is of course said tongue in cheek. But I honestly believed my beautiful scrapbooking bubble would only be graced with REAL celebrities like Tim Holtz, Trisha Ladouceur, Christine Middlecamp and Leica Forrest. I am SO curious to see the photos that come of this.
